Hixson Lumber Sales, Inc., Pine Bluff, Arkansas, has recently acquired the Brewton Lumber Co. treating plant on Thomas Road in Winnfield.

Hixson markets a variety of treated wood products to dealers from plants in the middle south. The company has locations at Pine Bluff, Rison, Russellville, Plumerville, and Magnolia Arkansas; Willis and Caddo Mills, Texas; Winnfield, Louisiana; and Hillsboro, Illinois.

Products include treated 2-inch dimension lumber, one-inch boards, timbers, plywood, fencing, fire retardant lumber and plywood, beams and heavy timbers, and others.
