Funeral services for David Glen Caskey, 50 of Dodson, were held Sunday, February 25, at Siloam Baptist Church of Dodson. Mr. Caskey, a logger, died February 23 after a long illness with cancer, at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport.

The Rev. Charlie Hammons, Ronnie Taylor, and Dan Privett conducted services, with burial at Siloam Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Caskey of Dodson, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.l. Caskey, Jr., of dodson, a son, Daniel Caskey and wife Jodi of Dodson; two daughters, Lesley Duck and husband Ray of Jonesboro, and Lindsey of Dodson; two sisters, Donna Privett and husband Don of Tioga, and Cheryl Walters and husband David of Bentley; three grandchildren; and his mother-in-law, Janis Lewis Taylor.
