The Southern Forest Products Association (SFPA) has promoted Eric Gee to director of the Forest Products Machinery & Equipment Exposition. Eric succeeds exposition director Tami Kessler and longtime exposition director Lionel Landry who retired in 2005.

Eric Gee has worked at SFPA for the last 9 years, serving in various marketing and government affairs roles. "As the new director of the Forest Products Exposition, I am excited about keeping EXPO the premier industry event, working to generate even more interest and participation from visitors and exhibitors alike for EXPO 2007," says Eric Gee.

SFPA has sponsored and conducted the exposition every two years since 1950. EXPO 2007, scheduled for June 21-23 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, will feature an extensive display of forest products machinery and equipment, technology, and services, representing the full range of forest products-lumber, plywood, pallet, as well as treating operations.
