Forest Product EXPO in Atlanta June 23-25

The 28th Forest Products Machinery & Equipment Exposition - EXPO 2005 - will be held June 23-25 at Atlanta's Georgia World Congress Center, according to exposition director Tami Kessler. The dates for EXPO 2005 will allow for a Thursday through Saturday show.

The Forest Products Expo, held every two years, is sponsored and conducted by the Southern Forest Products Association (SFPA). Once again, the show will be in cooperation with APA - The Engineered Wood Association.

EXPO 2005 is one of the most extensive displays of forest products machinery and equipment, technology, and services, representing the full range of forest products - lumber, plywood, pallet, treating, as well as secondary processing and silviculture operations including forest and land management, site prep, and waste management. In addition, seminars held during the show will provide educational opportunities for attendees. More than 4,100 attended EXPO 2003.

"This promises to be another exciting, must-see show for the wood products industry," Kessler comments. "We are particularly excited about the return of outdoor exhibit space for the EXPO. These outdoor exhibits will offer expanded opportunities for both exhibitors and attendees. I'm certain that anyone involved in our industry will want to be in Atlanta next year to see this show."

Exhibit space literature will be mailed in May to SFPA members and 2003 exhibitors.
