The second annual Ark-La-Tex Logging Extravaganza is being planned for the third weekend of October, 2004, it has been announced by Travis Taylor, chairman.

The event will be held at Natchitoches, on a forest site near Interstate Highway 49, and convenient to the City of Natchitoches, Taylor said. Initial response from likely exhibitors has been good, and a successful event is anticipated.

The first annual Extravaganza was held in October 2003, with manufacturers and sellers of logging machinery from across the nation showing and demonstrating a variety of harvesters, chippers, skidders, and other equipment and accessories to loggers and guests from Louisiana, Arkansas, and Texas.
