Loggers attending the second Ark-La-Tex Logging Extravaganza near Natchitoches October 15-16 may receive six hours Continuing Logger Education credit by attending one of the classes being held at the site during the two-day event.

To receive credit, loggers must attend one of the classes, to be held at 9:00, 10:00 11:00, noon, and 1 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis on Friday and Saturday. Additionally, loggers must visit at least half the exhibits, where cards will be stamped showing attendance.

The Extravaganza includes in-the-woods demonstrations, logging skill contests, and raffles for three Arctic Cat 4-wheelers and am Ford F-150 truck.
