The 19th annual Ark-La-Tex Forestry Forum in Shreveport has been announced for Thursday, March 13, 2003, at the Holiday Inn Financial Plaza off I-20 in Shreveport.

Ricky Kilpatrick, Northwest Louisiana Forestry Agent, LSU AgCenter in Benton is coordinator for the Forum, which will feature a series of presentations on subjects of interest to landowners and forest industry people.

Special topics include latest updates on landowner assistance programs, forestry investment opportunities, pine beetle concerns, and others.
