EXPO 2005 in Atlanta June 20-25

Visitors may now register to attend the 28th Forest Products Machinery & Equipment Exposition - EXPO 2005. The show is scheduled for Thursday through Saturday, June 23-25 at Atlanta's Georgia World Congress Center. Some 100,000 square feet of exhibit space indoor and outdoor is available to showcase industry wares.

By visiting the show's official website - www.sfpa.org/expo - those planning to attend the show may complete their advance registration and sign up for technical and logging seminars. They may also arrange hotel accommodations in Atlanta at special show rates.

"It has never been easier to register for this show. The show's website allows anyone to complete their registration for the show and seminars, make hotel reservations, and view the current list of exhibitors," comments Exposition Director Tami Kessler. "As of mid-January, more than 150 companies have contracted space for EXPO 2005," she adds.

An 8-page visitor's brochure is now being distributed to more than 150,000 industry contacts. The brochure includes complete details of the six technical and two logging seminars being conducted by the Forest Products Society and the Southern Forest Products Association in conjunction with the show.

Held every two years, EXPO 2005 is one of the most extensive displays of forest products machinery and equipment, technology, and services, and will represent the full range of forest products - logging, forestry and land management, plus lumber, plywood, pallet, treating, as well as secondary processing and silvicultural operations. EXPO consistently generates a quality audience. More than 4,000 attenders and exhibitors participated in EXPO 2003.
